SYNOPSIS

This is Stela, with her big eyes behind long lashes and a cigarette that's always hanging from the corner of her mouth. Most of her life has been a chaos of sex, drugs, thievery, HIV and jail. But Stela is like the mythical Phoenix because she is full of love for the wretched, for children, for Ana, for the Bearded Old Man up there, and for the father she had lost much too soon.
